Included in the update list are multiple tweaks to both the singleplayer and multiplayer experience in Mount and Blade 2, as well as overall changes set to affect the entire game. While none of these updates are blessed with hard dates, the developer insists that "work will continue on the game unabated," along with a gradual return to studio offices now that most of the team has been vaccinated against COVID-19. In a recent post on Steam titled "Future Plans," TaleWorlds discusses a long list of planned updates and additions to the game. Ranged combat, missions, and multiplayer duels in Mount and Blade 2 have all been addressed throughout early access, but it seems the biggest updates have yet to arrive. Now in early access, the game has received a ton of patches since its debut back in March 2020, which TaleWorlds has concisely outlined in a series of YouTube videos on its channel. Developer TaleWorlds continues to prepare its strategy action RPG, Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, for a full release sometime in the future.
